Application of Epoxy Resin
With our Deep Pour & Casting kit, you’ll get everything you need for the perfect casting. Determine the amount you need by using our epoxy quantity calculator found on each product page. Mixing the resin is very easy. Simply follow our detailed instructions. Our kits always include the right amounts of resin and hardener, as well as your desired colorants.
Always mix the required amount of epoxy for the layer you want to do. Mix the resin and hardener (B) in a mixing ratio of 2:1. Stir the mixture and pass the stir stick well through the edge and bottom of the mixing jug. Then, transfer the mixed epoxy to a clean jug. Paint the epoxy primer on the desired surface using a foam roller or paintbrush. Allow the primer to dry. Drying time will vary depending on temperature and layer thickness.
Proceed with the main coating in the same way. If you select a color, you will receive colorants in addition to the resin and hardener. To color the main coating, mix the colorants included in the delivery with the resin or with the resin-hardener mixture. Adjust the color intensity individually by adding more or fewer colorants.
