Instructions for Use
Priming with PRIMER
- We recommend a working temperature of approx. 70°F.
- The surface should be dust-free, clean, and even. Level out holes, unevenness, and slopes in advance with leveling compound.
- Always start with our PRIMER.
- Mix the primer thoroughly and dye it with the supplied WB Pigment.
- Pour the colored primer into a paint tray after mixing.
- Apply the colored primer on the desired surface with a paint roller.
- Allow the colored primer to dry (approx. 8-12 hours).
Main Coating with METALLIC BRUSH EFFECT
- Use our METALLIC BRUSH EFFECT for the maint coat.
- First, mix half the supplied METALLIC BRUSH EFFECT with the supplied metallic pigment PLATINUM SILVER.
- Then, mix the other half of the supplied METALLIC BRUSH EFFECT with the supplied metallic pigment PEARL WHITE.
- Paint the PLATINUM SILVER METALLIC BRUSH EFFECT in a criss-cross pattern onto the primed surface with a paint roller. The primer should remain a bit visible to achieve the desired effect.
- Paint the PEARL WHITE METALLIC BRUSH EFFECT wet on wet on the PLATINUM SILVER METALLIC BRUSH EFFECT with a paint roller.
- The paint is dust-dry after approx. 5 hours.
Sealing with PU
- Coat the surface with the PU resin.
- To do this, mix the PU resin (A) with the appropriate PU hardener (B) in the specified mixing ratio. PU matte: 2:1 (e.g.: 28fl.oz. A + 14fl.oz B).
- Transfer the mixture to a paint tray and mix again. This way you make sure that resin (A) and hardener (B) mix completely.
- Apply the material thinly with a foam roller in a criss-cross pattern.
- Let the first coat cure and apply the second coat in the same way. We recommend applying the second coat after min. 12h but not more than 20h.
Pro Tip: Do not wear rubber-soled shoes while before or during the application of the 2K PU Topcoat, as rubber microparticles may cause an uneven finish. Rubber-soled shoes can be worn once the second coat of 2K PU Topcoat is cured.
Consumption volumes
Recommended thicknesses when coating floors and other surfaces
- Overall coating (primer + main coating + sealing): approx. 1-1.25oz/sqft
- Primer: approx. 0.4-0.5oz/sqft
- Main layer: approx. 0.35-0.45oz/sqft
- Sealing: approx. 0.26fl.oz./sqft per coat. We recommend approximately two coats.
