Before starting, make sure your substrate is load-bearing, dry, stable, and free of grease and separating agents. Then, prime, and, if necessary, level the area to be coated. Apply 2 layers of our microcement with a trowel.
Finally, apply our polyurethane sealant to achieve a waterproof, weather-resistant finish. This steps is always recommended but it is necessary in the bathroom, on floors, outdoors.

Can I apply Microcement Outdoors?
Can I apply Microcement in Wet Areas?
I have never used microcement before, can I really do it by myself?
How do I maintain my microcement?
Use a vacuum cleaner or a broom to remove dust, dirt, hair, etc. A mop or microfibre cloth can be used for thorough cleaning. Please make sure to put water on your microcement, only after the polyurethane sealant has cured.
Do not use acidic cleaning agents. Scrubbing the surface with hard brush is also not recommended.
Do I need to prepare the substrate?
First make sure that your substrate is load-bearing, dry, and free of dirt and separating agents.
Then, prime and, if necessary, level the area to be coated. Select the right primer/leveling compound as follow:
Use our Putty Primer to level and prime uneven walls, for example tiled walls.
Use our 2K Leveling Compound to level and prime uneven floors, for example tiled floors.
If your substrate is levelled and even use one of the 2 following primers:
For absorbent surfaces, for example, concrete, use our DEEP PRIMER.
For non-absorbent surfaces, for example, metal or plastic, use our 2K Bonding Primer.
