EPODEX's 2K TILE PAINT is a 2-component paint ideal for painting walls and floors tiles. It consists of a resin and hardener which must be mixed together before application.

Our 2K TILE PAINT is a water-based, odorless epoxy resin-based paint. It adheres perfectly to tiles and is hard-wearing.

Instructions for use - STEP BY STEP

Sand the tiles with sandpaper.
Cover/tape off surfaces that are not to be covered with a plastic drop cloth and masking tape.
Pre-clean and degrease tiles with the EPODEX PRE-CLEANER.
Mix resin (A-component) with hardener (B-component) in a ratio of 4:1 by volume (e.g., 12fl.oz resin: 3fl.oz hardener) or 5:1 by weight (e.g. 1.1lb resin to 0.22lb hardener). We recommend mixing small quantities of approx. 15fl.oz per coat, as the material is very reactive and thickens quickly.
Color the material with the WB pigment supplied and pour it into the paint tray. We recommend adding 5% WB Pigment to the tile paint mixture (e.g. 36fl.oz resin + 9fl.oz. and 100g(3.5oz) WB Pigment).
Apply material and allow to dry (approx. 12 hours at 70°C).
We recommend approx. two coats.
If desired, retouch the tile joints with the EPODEX grout pen and ruler.

Recommendations

Processing temperature: The room and substrate temperatures must be between 45°F and 75°F. Do not apply on heated surfaces or in direct sunlight. Drying problems may occur at low temperatures. Clean tools with water immediately after use.

I found Epodex online while searching for options to paint the pink/peach tile in my bathroom. I was skeptical at first, but decided to give it a try based on reviews. This tile paint is fantastic! It completely transformed the bathroom at our new beach house. We are not ready to do a whole bathroom redo, and this product made it possible for us to bridge the gap. Goes on easily and spreads very nicely. The color used in the "after" photo is two coats of Silver Grey with white grout pen.

I like this paint. Be patient with it. My first coat didn’t look great but it was my first time rolling epoxy paint. The second coat looks fantastic. I have a small bathroom that I repainted the tiles. It looks great. Another plus was not having to wear a mask to apply it due to it being odorless. I will buy this paint again.

The before/after pictures basically speak for themselves. The paint is super easy to work with and the quality is great. After more than three months and almost daily use, it still looks like it did right after the renovation.

I am very satisfied with this product. A few things come to mind though for anyone that is considering using it. First, if you have a large project, like a bathroom, that may require two or more coats, plan on dividing up a large quantity of product OR BETTER YET buy smaller quantities of product to mix at different times. I made the crucial mistake of mixing a full gallon and it all hardened before I could use it . So I needed to buy more to finish my project. I ended up wasting $100 bucks of epoxy!
