BPA-Free
All our epoxybased CONCRETE PAINT 2K is without free BPA (=Bisphenol A). “BPA-free” means that there is no free bisphenol A in our epoxy resins. Bisphenol A is a plasticizer in plastics and resins. Bisphenol A can dissolve from BPA-containing products when they come into contact with food and then enter the human body. This can again can cause health problems.

Our CONCRETE PAINT 2K is free of solvents. It also contains low VOCs. “VOC” is the abbreviation for volatile organic compounds. VOC-containing epoxy resins, as well as adhesives and paints, can continue to evaporate for years after drying and curing and release substances into the air that are hazardous to one´s health. The VOC content in the air can be determined with CO2 measuring devices. Especially in closed rooms, a high VOC content in the air can lead to breathing difficulties, headaches, and other health problems.

Instructions for Use
- We recommend to apply 2 coats. Plan the quantity of resin and hardener required for each coat.
- Mix the resin (A) with the hardener (B) for one coat in a ratio of 4:1 (e.g., 4gal resin + 1gal hardener). Optionally, the mixture can be diluted by adding 20% water.
- Ideally, transfer the material to a clean mixing bucket and stir again. This will ensure that the resin (A) and hardener (B) are completely mixed together.
- Add the supplied WB Pigment to the resin/hardener mixture.
- Pour the material into a paint tray immediately after mixing, as the product can cure quickly in the mixing bucket.
- Apply the material with a roller over the entire area.
- Wait at least 12-48 hours before applying the second coat. Mix the resin and hardener for the second layer right before using it.
Info: Epoxy resin is sensitive to any kind of stress before complete curing. Therefore, we recommend to handle the flooring with care and not wash it until complete chemical curing is reached (i.e. 7 days). For thin layers, cold temperatures (ambient, substrate, and resin temperatures below 60°F) and increased humidity, the time until the epoxy resin is fully cured may be extended.

- Apply 2 coats with 0.65-0.80oz/sqft. In addition, we recommend applying a suitable primer (e.g. undercoat) on very porous substrates in order to minimize the absorption of CONCRETE PAINT.

We recently completed a pickleball court project at our AIRBNB in Pensacola, FL. We searched for different ways to go about painting the concrete court but finally revisited Epodex and realized they carried epoxy concrete paint. Definitely the most bang for our buck especially since we needed a total of 3 different colors. We will see how it holds up to the hot Florida summer and people playing on the court but it looks VERY durable. We also used the metallic flooring epoxy and couldn't be happier how those turned out. I had an ugly basement storage area that I wanted to convert to a meditation 🧘♂️ and workout space. Flooring would have been to costly - especially during the holiday season. This paint was the perfect choice. It was easy to apply. It covered the old rust spots. Now the space looks clean and bright. It’s perfect for what I needed. I’m not sure how it will hold up in the long run. There are already a few scuffs and scratches moving items into the space. But overall, I’m very happy with it so far. Unable to add pics, since iPhone files are a duo file name.

after using the epoxy paint my pool is great! It took a lot of work to repair and paint. I had to cover it after the 2nd coat as it was drying too fast. It looks great and your product covered the vinyl membrane on the bottom perfectly. 2 coats on the walls and 3 on the bottom! Thanks
